CREATIVE STUDIO
Balloon Factory is a full service creative studio and
production company based in Los Angeles, California.
We develop and produce bold, artist-driven music videos
that are handcrafted, joyful, and hyper-stylized.
Along the way, we partner with artists, labels, management
teams, and brands with one common goal: create work that's impossible to ignore and genuinely fun to make.
In addition to music videos, our first narrative projects
are currently in production.
MEET THE TEAM
Mikey Harmon is a Los Angeles and
Brooklyn based Director, Editor, and
Creative Director with over a decade of
experience in film, music, and advertising.
Working with agencies like Droga5, McCann,
and Full Picture, his work has been recognized by Cannes Festival of Creativity,
The Webby Awards, The Effie Awards,
The Shorty Awards, among others.
As a Director, he's collaborated with the
likes of Chrissy Chlapecka, Mel 4Ever, DEV,
and moreto create glossy, memorable
music videos—screening at over a dozen international film festivals.
Throughout his career, he's created
work for leading brands like Verizon, Mondelez, Urban Decay, Unicef, St. Jude, Office Depot, Reckitt, US Bank, SharkNinja, and more.

MIKEY
Tracy Smith (she/her) is General Counsel
at Unwell, Alex Cooper’s multihyphenate media company, where she leads legal and business affairs across brand partnerships and integrations, commercials, live events, podcasts,
and film/television initiatives.
Previously, Tracy spent seven years at a
leading global law firm representing production companies, studios, and A-list talent including Dwayne Johnson, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon
and Conan O’Brien.
A 2023 “Up Next” Honoree in Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report, Tracy is known for pairing sharp dealmaking with strong emotional intelligence and a deeply collaborative approach. Outside of her day job, Tracy uses her legal and business background to champion artists by producing projects, advising on strategy, and helping talent bridge the gap between creativity and sustainable business.
